40 cal protection without the traditional bulk

The ProGARM Arc 4 Switching Suit uses lightweight PYRAD® Technology by GORE-TEX Labs to provide an ELIM of 40 cal/cm² in a single-ply fabric.

At 320gsm, it is more than 50% lighter than the entry-level product assessed during development. It is also up to 64% more flexible and 48% thinner than the premium products tested.

That means less bulk and more freedom to bend, reach and move through the job.

Why PYRAD® Technology by Gore-Tex Labs?

The new arc rated PYRAD® product technology by GORE-TEX LABS is based on a 3-layer laminate engineered into a single-ply. It blocks heat flow during arc exposure and stops flame propagation by forming a carbonaceous char with the fabric, so that heat transfer to skin is reduced.
